CNC Machinist/programmer

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Manufacture of spare parts for production machines.

2. Operate Lathe, milling, surface grinding and drilling machines

3. Repair of all workshop materials

4. Mechanical maintenance of plastic forming, aluminum forming, and paper napkin, core winding and aluminum foil re-rolling machines.

5. To ensure all moulds are in proper running order and work optimally on the equipment they have been designed for.

6. make programmes with the G and M codes with sufficient training. Also in-charge for the design modifications with the usage of CAD/CAM software packages.

7. To control the product quality (shape/design) over time through improvement of tooling parts through renewal of parts, improvement on those parts designs, ribbing and reduction in trim waste, etc. and ensure the product meets market expectations.

Qualifications:

- Diploma with Tool Making
- Operating and programming CNC/VMC machines
- Must have experience for design softwares like autocad, catvia, delcam and soliworks
- Experience in operating machines like EDM, surface grinding, tuning, milling, drilling, lathe
- Able to do 2D and 3D design models
- Basic troubleshooting and repair of tool room machines.
