Summary:
Stores & Central Excise Executive responsible for overseeing stores management, import-export operations, customs clearance, and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure smooth material flow and managing import and export documentation, customs liaison, EOU compliance and inter-functional coordination

Responsibilities Include:

- Key Responsibilities: (_Regional and Local)_
- Oversee efficient management of stores, ensuring proper inventory control, storage, and material handling processes to maintain operational efficiency
- Supervise the receipt of incoming materials, verifying their quantity and quality against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies where necessary.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of Goods Receipts (GR) in the system, aligning with the company’s inventory and procurement policies.
- Coordinate with Finance for processing the vendor bills for payment, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions to avoid delays
- Collaborate with Customs House Agents (CHA) for the efficient clearance of import shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
- Manage logistics with courier companies like DHL, FedEx, UPS, and TNT, ensuring smooth clearance and delivery of import shipments.
- Liaise with the Chennai team for the timely remittance of duties related to import shipments, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Coordinate with the Chennai team to obtain Sample and Inspection Report (IR) reference numbers for import shipments, facilitating proper tracking and documentation.
- Oversee the export process for sample shipments, ensuring compliance with relevant export regulations and timely delivery.
- Ensure the timely submission of Form-A returns to customs authorities, providing accurate data in compliance with monthly reporting requirements
- Provide data required for filing quarterly customs reports, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.
- Share relevant annexures with the Finance department for import shipment payments, ensuring smooth financial processing and accurate reporting.
- Provide Delivery Challans for materials leaving the plant, clearly indicating whether they are non-returnable or returnable items.
- Providing copies of bill of entries for FOC shipments to the bank for IDPMS closure on a monthly basis
