We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Business Intelligence team at AXA XL working in our Gurgaon/Bangalore office. You would be supporting the Reporting Transformation Team in India, UK, and US to build new BI solution across the globe as well as maintaining and enhancing existing BI solutions.

Role/Responsibilities
- Under general direction, works on issues/problems or assignments of medium scope, impact, and importance where business acumen or ingenuity are required
- Typically works on assignments in one or more business or specialized professional areas, provides management backup, and may lead or manage smaller to medium size projects
- May work in a broad discipline(s), or narrow, intensely specialized field
- Performs assignments characterized by specialized depth and breadth
- Possesses a solid understanding of business dynamics/political sensitivities

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- 3+ years’ experience in reporting and dashboard development including schema and data model design
- Strong data visualization skills
- Experience in administration and configuration of BI tools specifically Power BI or MicroStrategy
- Solid foundational knowledge of writing custom DAX measures in Power BI
- 3+ years of relevant work experience writing complex SQL queries
- Good data modeling and design skills, including translating data warehousing concepts into BI and Power BI or MicroStrategy architecture
- Ensures the delivery of regular reporting and dashboards development tasks on time and while adhering to SLA’s without compromising quality of report/dashboard.
- Able to understand the numbers and quickly identify issues within reports
- Experience with R, python, REST API is a plus
- 3+ years' Commercial Insurance industry experience and industry knowledge desired
- Ability to work with the end users in an iterative (Agile) fashion to produce required artifacts
- Able to self-manage and seek out solutions proactively without oversight
- High levels of customer focus and a team player essential
