Dental Assistant

A Dental Assistant plays a key supporting role in dental clinics, helping dental professionals with various tasks to ensure smooth patient care as below:

- **Assisting during procedures**: Helping the dentist during dental treatments, including taking and organizing instruments, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- **Patient Preparation**: Preparing patients for dental procedures, making them comfortable, and providing instructions.
- **Post-Procedure Care**: Offering care instructions post-treatment, providing post-operative medications, and assisting with follow-up appointments.
- **X-rays and Imaging**: Taking dental X-rays (radiographs) and other diagnostic images, as per dentist’s instructions.
- **Sterilization**: Sterilizing dental tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitoring the stock of dental materials, tools, and medications, and ensuring timely ordering of supplies.
- **Basic Clinical Procedures**: Assisting the dentist in routine dental procedures like cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canals.
- **Oral Hygiene Instruction**: Providing patients with oral care instructions, including how to properly brush, floss, and maintain oral hygiene.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- **Educational Qualification**: Any graduate/ under-graduate/ diploma or certification in dental assisting from a recognized institution is preferred.
- **Skills**: Good communication, attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, knowledge of dental procedures and tools, and basic administrative skills.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a dental office or clinic is often preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
