**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Core Responsibilities (Accountability & Responsibility of the Role)**

**1.** Responsible for initiating purchase orders for cell, battery parts and services
- 2. Responsible for procuring and inspection of sample products as and when required.
- 3. Analyze quotations; negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, recommend suppliers with respect to cost, quality, and delivery competitiveness for assigned responsibilities.
- 4. Follow-up and confer with vendors to obtain product or service information including but not limited to price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- 5. Track the status of requisitions and orders or to resolve discrepancies with quantity and quality.
- 6. Negotiate long term supply agreements with suppliers.
- 7. Provide support in monitoring in-house inventory movement to determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
- 8. Review requisitions, maintain purchasing files, reports and pricing list
- 9. Assist leads/program managers in the resolution of production, design, quality and delivery problems.
- 10. Actively coordinate with the engineering team on quality matters, update engineering changes with supplier on real time basis.**Critical / Mandatory Experience**
- 1. Hands on experience with automotive cell, battery parts, body parts, machining parts, raw materials.
- 2. Proficiency and hands on knowledge of battery pack assembly, cell and related components in an EV OEM.
- 3. Ability to study 2d and 3d drawings and decide manufacturability of the part at the lowest price.- Role:_Procurement / Purchase Manager
