**Job Description** - Purchase Executive/Engineer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Procurement of materials related to instrumentation, analytical instruments, and mechanical components.
- Evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and ensure quality compliance.
- Coordinate with technical teams to understand requirements and convert them into effective purchase decisions.
- Maintain and develop a strong network with welders, fabrication vendors, and local market suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and raise purchase orders as needed.
- Conduct periodic vendor audits and performance evaluations.
- Ensure timely delivery and resolve vendor-related issues.
- Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation in ERP.
- Ensure compliance with company’s procurement policies and ISO standards.

**Required Skills & Competencies**:

- In-depth knowledge of technical specifications, engineering drawings, and BOM.
- Hands-on experience in purchasing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation materials.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills. - Familiarity with GST, basic commercial terms, and purchase agreements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Tally And SAP.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills - written and verbal.
- Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of cost control and budgeting principles.
