**IT Expertise**
- Expertise in at least one of the following technologies - Java, C#.NET, C++, Python
- Experience working on Software projects with ability to define design / architecture
- Should have knowledge of GitHub, CI/CD processes, and be able to perform code review for team members
- Knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins will be a big plus

**Domain Expertise**
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate **test harnesses**, **DAQ (Data Acquisition) devices** and simulation technologies into automation software solutions for utilities, ensuring accurate system modeling and validation.
- Provide leadership in identifying trends and industry shifts, such as **smart grids**, **AMI (Advanced metering infrastructure)**, IoT-enabled devices, and energy optimization, and translate these insights into actionable solutions for product development.
- Utilize industry protocols such as **Sunspec** (for solar and energy systems) and **SCPI** (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments) to enable seamless communication between automation products and external devices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols in utility automation solutions, including adherence to IEEE, IEC, NERC, FERC, and other relevant local or international guidelines..
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to design, develop, and optimize automation software solutions that align with current and future utility industry needs.
