- Understanding how to build and maintain a fire in the wood fired oven.
- This involves selecting the right type of wood, knowing how to regulate the temperature, and ensuring the fire is safe.
- Monitoring and rotating the food cooking in the oven for even cooking.
- Cleaning of oven periodically and maintaining its heat retention capabilities.
**Kitchen Management**
- Maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Communicating with other staff about menu items and special requests
- Training and knowledge sharing with other kitchen staff on using the wood fired oven and its best practices.
