Rates Regulatory Middle Office

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As part of the Rates Regulatory Middle Office team, the team works in a dynamic operating environment, reviewing changing regulations and ensuring JPM is compliant with the regulation as well as having the proper controls in place. The team is responsible for monitoring reg controls and ensuring a quick resolution to any issues. The team partners closely with the Rates Business, Business Management, Technology, Legal and Compliance.

**Job responsibilities**
- Proven track record in partnering with Technology, Legal and Compliance to implement change and drive operations agenda.
- Solid understanding of OTC derivative instruments and market dynamics preferably for Rates as an asset class. [10+ year experience preferred]
- Proven track record in partnering with Technology, Legal and Compliance to implement change and drive operations agenda.
- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, systems and controls and the functions responsible for execution of those controls.
- Understanding Regulatory requirements and reporting is desirable

**Required qualification, skills and capabilities**:

- Excellent delivery record in previous roles, ability to manage changing priorities and high volume processes
- Experience of OTC derivative processing/lifecycle, in one or multiple asset classes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, at all levels
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Have a proactive, focused approach, looking at continuous ways to improve the control and operational environment.
- Strong PC skills e.g. Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong risk and controls awareness, attention to detail
