Job Responsibilities
- Study / Review/ Update/ Follow-up on all guest requests and makes necessary preparations.
- Brief and debrief the staff about the important events/ function of the day and accordingly allocate work.
- To sell and upsell in order to meet sales budget of the banquets.
- To be receptive to any guest complaints/ comments/ compliments and intimate seniors to take corrective measures whenever necessary.
- To continuously train the staffs for better quality and maintaining industry standards.
- Co-ordinates with other operating departments to facilitate guest request.
- Logs down all guest requests.
- Handles guest complaints and/or refers them to the Banquet Manager or Operations Manager for appropriate action.
- Manage the team and work efficiently towards guest’s preferences and needs. Maintain an effective guest history system.
- Proper staffing of the department, ODCs/ casuals as per the banquet functions for smooth operations.
- Prints and delivers personalized business cards for guests who requested.
- Checks-out guests
- Handle cash floats
- Performs related duties and special projects assigned.
- Adherence to the guidelines mentioned in the TPAM and TCOC and thorough adherence to the IT etiquettes is to be followed.
- Adhere to personal grooming as per the standards laid down by the hotel and ensure that all staff in the department maintain high standards of grooming.
In addition to the above functions, any other assignment / job given by the reporting manager or on a daily basis are to be performed.
