SYSTRA is the GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT.

MISSIONS/MAIN DUTIES
- Assist Project Director in management and interpretation of all Contracts signed between Client and Detail Design Consultant/ Construction Contractor/ Design Build Contractor/ Suppliers etc.
- Assist in tendering & procurement of Contractors/DDC, systems, rolling stock depot equipment and other services.
- Monitor, review & interpret all correspondence from Contractors on contractual matters and advice Project Director on the line of response.
- Review and analyze requests from Contractor and/ or Consultants for variations, check stage payments and statutory & contractual recoveries thereof.
- Advise Project Director on matters that must be referred to Client as per contract for acceptance/ final decision.
- Assist the Project Director in all contract closure at the end of the project.

PROFILE/SKILLS
- Graduate in any Engg. discipline and MBA/ post graduate/ PG diploma in management.
- Minimum experience of 15 years in relevant field, out of which minimum 6 years experience should be in tendering / procurement and contract management in Metro Rail / Major Infrastructure projects, funded by bilateral or multi-lateral agencies.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
- Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
- Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
