The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in digital systems and databases. This role requires attention to detail, typing proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Enter, update, and maintain accurate data into computer systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Review and correct data errors or inconsistencies before entry.
- Maintain and organize electronic and paper files for records and auditing.
- Generate reports and retrieve data as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of company data.
- Respond to data-related queries and provide timely support to team members.
- Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure efficient data flow and reporting.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- Proficient in typing with high accuracy (typically 40+ WPM).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Prior experience in data entry or administrative support is preferred.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office-based or remote depending on company policy.
- Typically standard business hours (9 AM - 5 PM), with occasional need for overtime depending on project deadlines.
