**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the library, including cataloging, acquisition, circulation, and maintenance of library materials.
- Develop and maintain the library collection, selecting and purchasing books, periodicals, multimedia resources, and digital materials to support the curriculum and meet the diverse interests and needs of users.
- Assist students, faculty, and community members in locating and accessing information resources, both print and digital, and provide reference and research assistance.
- Teach information literacy skills and research techniques through library instruction sessions, workshops, and individual consultations.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources and services into the curriculum, supporting project-based learning and interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Promote reading and literacy initiatives through book displays, author visits, reading programs, and other engaging activities to foster a love of reading among students and the community.
- Maintain the library's physical and virtual spaces, ensuring they are welcoming, organized, and conducive to study, research, and collaboration.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in librarianship and educational technology, and evaluate and implement new tools and resources to enhance library services.
- Manage library budgets, expenditures, and financial records, and prepare reports as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and stakeholders to advocate for the library and its role in supporting teaching, learning, and research.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science from an ALA-accredited program.
- Previous experience working as a librarian, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of library principles, practices, and procedures, including cataloging, classification, and collection development.
- Familiarity with library management systems (e.g., OPAC, integrated library software) and digital library technologies.
- Excellent research and reference skills, with the ability to assist users in locating and evaluating information from diverse sources.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Commitment to promoting literacy, lifelong learning, and intellectual freedom.
- Ability to adapt to changing technology and evolving library trends.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
