**Job description**

**Role & responsibilities**

We are seeking a qualified individual with strong expertise in organic chemistry, including in-depth knowledge of chemical reactions and mechanisms. The role involves:

- Distillation of organic solvents and purification of organic compounds using column chromatography, vacuum distillation, and crystallization.
- Scaling up chemical reactions from gram to kilogram scale.
- Conducting experiments for assigned projects and maintaining accurate records of observations in the lab notebook.
- Proficiency in using online resources, including chemistry-related searches, to support research and project work.
- Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment such as round-bottom flasks (RBF), TLC chambers, pH meters (calibration and use), rotary evaporators, Buchner filters, microfilters, vacuum systems, and tray dryers.
- API/CRO- R&D
