**Responsibilities**:
- **Real-Time Documentation**: Record patient history, exam findings, and treatment plans during live encounters through live audio and video chat and remoting into the Ophthalmologists computer to live complete all patient charting tasks.
- **Patient Workups**: Take histories, conduct preliminary exams, and prepare patients for the ophthalmologist.
- **Testing & Prescriptions**: Interpret ophthalmic tests, send prescriptions, and manage consult notes.
- **Communication**: Liaise between patients and the ophthalmology team via live audio/video chat.
- **Administrative Support**: Update EHRs, explain consent forms, and schedule follow-ups.
**Qualifications**:
- Licensed Optometrist with strong medical knowledge in ophthalmology.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fast typing skills and proficiency with healthcare software.
- Experience as a medical scribe or in ophthalmology is a plus.
**System requirement**:
- Processors should be above 8th gen
- RAM should be 16GB. SSD or NvMe preferred for a better processing speed
- Must use LAN Connection or a dedicated Cat 6 Fiber Cable
- Connection must be 100MPBS and above
- Monitor should be 60Hz - refresh rate
- Good wired headset with a microphone or ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) Airbuds, Krisp headset or purchase Krisp.
