**System Administrator - Noida (Immediate Joining)**

**Key Responsibilities:

- **Server Management & Maintenance**:
Oversee the installation, configuration, and management of in-house servers, including physical and virtualized environments.

Ensure that all internal servers are properly patched, configured, and secured.

Monitor server performance, diagnose issues, and perform necessary upgrades and optimizations.

Implement and manage server backups, disaster recovery plans, and system redundancy to minimize downtime.
- **Networking & Infrastructure Management**:
Manage internal network services, including DNS, DHCP, NTP, and VPN.

Administer and maintain network hardware (firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers).

Design, configure, and monitor network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity between servers, storage devices, and user systems.

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize the performance of internal network resources.
- **Security & Compliance**:
Implement and enforce security policies to protect the organization’s internal systems from unauthorized access and external threats.

Manage firewall rules, VPN access, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and encryption protocols.

Regularly perform vulnerability assessments, system audits, and compliance checks

Respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- **Automation & Scripting**:
Automate routine tasks using scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce human error.

Develop and maintain configuration management and automation tools
- **Support & Troubleshooting**:
Provide escalated support for internal staff and end-users in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Maintain detailed documentation for all systems and infrastructure, including network diagrams, configurations, and maintenance schedules.

Collaborate with the IT helpdesk team and other departments to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- **Monitoring & Reporting**:
Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure server uptime and performance.

Produce regular reports on server health, usage statistics, and incident response metrics for management and decision-making.

Conduct regular system performance reviews, recommend capacity planning improvements, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- **Collaboration & Leadership**:
Mentor and provide guidance to junior system administrators and IT staff.

Work closely with the IT management team to design and implement IT infrastructure strategies.

Participate in IT projects, from system upgrades to full infrastructure overhauls, and contribute to the implementation of new technologies.

**Qualifications:


**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

**Experience**:
Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator or Network Administrator, with at least 3 years focused on managing in-house or internal server infrastructure.

Proven experience with a range of server operating systems

Experience with virtualization technologies and containerization

Familiarity with cloud technologies is a plus but not required.

**Technical Skills**:
Proficient in server hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.

Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.

Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SSL/TLS, VPNs).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
