**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage audit engagements for banking clients, ensuring high-quality delivery within timelines.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for audit-related queries.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and industry trends impacting banking audits, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Supervise and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support to ensure professional development.
- Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports prepared by team members.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient audit planning and execution.
- Provide insights and recommendations to clients on improving internal controls and financial processes.
- Assist in business development activities, including preparing proposals and participating in client meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in the BFSI sector, specifically in banking audit roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, audit standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to banking institutions.
- Proven experience in managing audit engagements and leading teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and audit software/tools.
