The WSO Quality Assurance team comprises 40+ highly skilled and experienced quality engineers in the US and India. The team supports the high quality of software by independently verifying that software functionality conforms to business requirements using a highly robust and modern technical testing solution.

**Position summary**

S&P Global Markit Intelligence is seeking experienced automation testing professionals to join its WSO, Noida, India team. The SQA Engineer is responsible for architecting new automated test strategies and scaling frameworks, in addition to creating, implementing, and automating testing in support of software test requirements. It is a hands-on technical position and will require a strong knowledge of C#, Webdriver.io, API automation. A passion for quality and a sense of pride in your work is an absolute must for the role. **Duties and Accountabilities**
- Drive Automation test strategies and work directly with QA and Development engineers to build and scale the best-in-class automated test solutions/ frameworks
- Work closely with Product Owner, Developers & Quality Engineers to make sure that all features and bug fixes come with robust automated test coverage
- Lead by example - Set up/ Roll out standards and best practices for Automation Framework improvements
- Displays ownership with source control, sprint task management, and deployment tools(CI/CD)
- Automate and execute test scenarios/ run regression suits for existing and new solutions
- Analyze, troubleshoot & fix automation framework issues and breaks; exhibit excellent technical troubleshooting ability; continuous improvement of test pipelines/suits
- Remove roadblocks, escalate risks and work in a fast paced and highly interactive environment
- Provides transparency through well-defined metrics, automation testing results, and reporting
- Ability to work in an advisory capacity to identify key technical and business problems, develop and evaluate best QA solutions based upon business value drivers, proven architecture principles, patterns & return on investment and implement recommendations

Education and Experience
- 5+ years of QA Automation experience in implementing object-oriented systems
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science/ Information Technology
- A self-managed individual with a proven record to build and scaling the automation frameworks
- In-depth experience with at least 2 or more leading automation testing tools/frameworks like Protractor, Cucumber /BDD, WebdriverIO, Selenium, Cypress, SpecFlow or Test NG
- Excellent programming/ scripting skills
- API testing - rich expertise in RESTful design / best practices. In-depth experience of testing APIs and test tools like Postman or Newman
- Well versed with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (ADO) and techniques
- Tools: Postman, Visual Studio, VSCode, Node & npm, SourceTree/ Git, Microsoft SQL Server
- Well versed with AWS Cloud technology
- Rich experience of working in an Agile software development organization
- Experience of testing container-based systems will be a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in a globally distributed software development team
