Maintenance Electrician

**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician - Molding Department**

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary equipment (e.g., heaters, temperature controllers, hydraulic systems).
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machines such as injection molding, compression molding, or blow molding units.
- Monitor and maintain power supply panels, motor control centers (MCCs), and control wiring.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new molding machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, sensors, timers, relays, and VFDs.
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety protocols and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, breakdowns, and service logs.
- Coordinate with the mechanical maintenance team and production supervisors to reduce downtime.
- Recommend and implement electrical improvements to enhance equipment efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in molding operations.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, and machine wiring.
- Hands-on experience with injection molding or similar equipment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley), drives, and automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to breakdowns on priority.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with plastic molding machines (e.g., Haitian, Toshiba, Ferromatik).
- Understanding of preventive maintenance programs.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems is a plus.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
