Assistant Store Incharge

**Job Summary**:The Store Incharge is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing company's store operations. This includes maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing and optimizing the storage of materials and products, and ensuring the timely availability of materials required for production. The Store Incharge will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing process.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**:Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including incoming and outgoing materials and products.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to prevent stockouts and delays in production.
Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.

**Storage and Organization**:Optimize the layout and organization of the storage area to maximize space utilization and facilitate easy access to materials.
Ensure that materials are stored in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage, or theft.
Implement proper labeling and tracking systems for easy identification and retrieval of materials.

**Receiving and Inspection**:Receive incoming shipments and inspect materials for quality and quantity.
Document and report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate departments.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to schedule deliveries and pickups.

**Material Handling**:Oversee the movement of materials within the facility, including the use of forklifts or other equipment.
Ensure that materials are delivered to the production lines in a timely manner to support production schedules.

**Documentation and Reporting**:Maintain accurate records of all store-related transactions and activities.
Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock turnover, and other relevant metrics for management review.

**Safety and Compliance**:Enforce safety protocols within the store area to ensure the well-being of employees and the protection of materials.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to storage and inventory management.

**Team Management**:Supervise and train store personnel, including stock clerks and forklift operators.
Foster a positive and productive work environment within the store team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in store management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification (if required).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
