**VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT - HOSTEL WARDEN**

**Eligibility & Qualifications (as per CBSE guidelines)**
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Training/Certification in **Student Counselling, Child Psychology, or Hostel Administration** preferred.
- Fluency in English and Hindi with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of **First Aid, Fire Safety, and basic computer usage** desirable.

**Skills & Responsibilities**
- **Student Welfare & Supervision**: Ensure discipline, safety, security, and emotional well-being of students residing in the hostel.
- **Mess & Kitchen Management**: Oversee quality, hygiene, and nutrition of food served; coordinate with mess staff to maintain proper dining schedules.
- **Health & Safety Monitoring**: Ensure medical needs, hygiene standards, and timely care for sick students; maintain first-aid readiness.
- **Administrative Duties**: Maintain hostel records (attendance, leave, discipline, health logs), manage inventory, and coordinate with school authorities.
- **Counselling & Mentoring**: Provide guidance, support, and address adolescent issues with sensitivity and care.
- **Event & Routine Management**: Organize hostel activities, study hours, roll calls, and ensure adherence to daily routines.
- **Liaison**: Act as a bridge between parents, school management, and hostel students for smooth communication.
- **Discipline & Leadership**: Handle conflicts, enforce hostel rules, and create a positive living environment.

**Other Requirements**
- Age: 25**-40 years preferred**.
- Prior experience as a hostel warden/matron in a **CBSE/boarding school** will be an added advantage.
- Must be willing to **reside on campus** and be available **round-the-clock for emergencies**.
