**Launch Vehicle Economist**

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform financial analysis of launch vehicle costing and strategize financial planning based on forecasted business needs and targets
- Analyze launch vehicle pricing data using mathematical models and statistical techniques
- Prepare budgets & submit recommendations for the approval or disapproval of funds requests.
- Create and be part of AgniKul’s financial model that creates efficient cash flow and increases profits.
- Examine pricing and supply-demand estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
- Perform cost-benefits analysis to compare operating programs, review financial requests, and explore alternative financing methods.
- Create a supply chain curve and work along side the Operations strategist to map out the economics of rocket making.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Cost and budget planning skills.
- Ability to understand financial statements.
- Understanding of e-business / e-procurement systems.
- Understanding of cross-cultural / global issues.
- Business ethics.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Masters degree in Business or Economics is required
- Prior experience in project management.
- Economic development theories and practices.
- Business planning and business expansion/marketing strategies.
- Financial management and analysis.
- Building strategic partnerships and facilitating the development of collaborative relationships.
- Understanding of principles and trends within the economic development industry.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
