A **sales manager's** daily duties include a variety of routine tasks. Other tasks may include analysing data, tracking customer satisfaction, improving productivity and training staff. Their primary motive is to increase sales for the organisation. On a daily basis, they may:

- Check a team's sales calls for the day
- Manage calendars for scheduled meetings and calls
- Respond to clients and leads
- Keep up with the latest trends and developments in the field
- Delegate tasks to other members
- Plan and deliver training sessions for new members
- Analyse the performance of team members
