Music Teacher

**Job Summary**:
This role requires creativity, patience, and excellent communication skills to help children discover and develop their musical talents while fostering appreciation for different musical genres and cultures.

**Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Instruction**
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons (vocal and/or instrumental) for students from primary to senior levels.
- Teach basic music theory, rhythm, sight-reading, pitch, and a variety of music styles (classical, contemporary, regional, western, etc.).
- Train students for school performances, assemblies, music competitions, and annual functions.
- Prepare students for external music examinations (e.g., Trinity, ABRSM, Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, etc.), if applicable.

**Curriculum Development**
- Design and implement a music curriculum aligned with educational standards and the school’s co-curricular goals.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate different learning styles and musical genres to foster a well-rounded musical education.

**Student Development & Support**
- Identify and nurture musically gifted students.
- Encourage creative expression and self-confidence through group and solo performances.
- Support students with no prior musical background in developing basic skills.

**Event Participation & Collaboration**
- Organize and direct school choirs, bands, orchestras, or musical clubs.
- Collaborate with other teachers for school events, concerts, drama productions, and cultural festivals.
- Provide music support for national events, morning assemblies, annual days, and special functions.

**Classroom & Instrument Maintenance**
- Maintain musical instruments and ensure they are in good working condition.
- Create an inspiring, organized, and safe learning environment for music practice.

**Professional Engagement**
- Stay updated with current trends in music education and integrate modern teaching methods.
- Participate in school meetings, workshops, training sessions, and co-curricular planning.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
