**Hiring for Sous Chef in Leading Hospitality Industry in India.**

**Job Description for Sous Chef**:
**Basic Responsibilities : To Manage efficiently and cost effectively the production operations of the unit and superlative quality of Recipe as per required Standard.**

**Organizational Relationship : Reporting Functionally to the Executive Chef.**

**Responsibilities**:
**1) To set up and Periodically review the standard operating prodecures of the food quality deliverance and to ensure adherence to the Same.**

**2) Make sure production schedule and Standard frecipes are followed.**

**3) Monitor Adherence to safety, Hygience and Cleanliness Standards.**

**4) Menu Planning, Staffing and Preparing of the regular duty Roasters.**

**5) To be involved in training and multi Skilling of the staff.**

**6) Liaise with the other departments for daily operations.**

**7) To build up a Database of dishes possible to be included in the future Menus.**

**8) Co - ordinate with the Executive Chef for Planning the Menus.**

**9) To contribute to the Development and maintenance of the operational manual that reflects policies, procedures, work processes and performance standards within the Department**

**10) To ensure that an efficient and accurate filling system, Both manual and electronic maintained**

**11) To regularly update the recipe calculations.**

**12) To Appropriately delegate duties and responsibilities so as to equipe, develop and nurture the staff.**

**13) To encourage staff feedback and involvement to bring about improvement in the work place.**

**14) To Enchance morale of Staff by effective Relationship Building.**

**15) To monitor the hygiene standards of the department, proper food handling and storage all the time.**

**16) To follow up on the HACCP Checklist and time and temperature records.**

**17) Maitain facilities and Equipment in perfect condition and implement Procedures to keep breakage and losses to the absolute minimum.**

**Qualification : Hotel Management**

**Salary : 4.5 LPA to 8 LPA**
