**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements.
- Publish financial statements in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Audit financial transactions and documents to ensure accuracy.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.
- Provide support during external and internal audits.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 or 2 years of proven experience as an Accountant.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like [e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle].
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in jewellery industry is a plus.
