**Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Professional**

This role is with Siemens Real Estate (SRE - Business Unit) and you will be responsible for Environment Health and Safety (EHS) related to Asset Management, Maintenance & Operations & SRE projects for Factories & Office locations

You will be part of central SRE EHS team responsible for EHS governance within your allocated regions. You will report to the SRE EHS head on EHS Topics.
- **Regional Responsibility** - Governance and monitoring of SRE Projects, offices and factories in respective Region; Support in all external/internal EHS Audits; Investigations of all incidents in the region; Issue Incident Alerts for incidents in respective regions; Regional EHS feedback to AMA - monthly basis; IFM Quarterly EHS performance Review; New site evaluation, Support & guide SRE project team on EHS topics ( EHS plan, HIRA/SWMS, PTW, TBT, Checklists etc)
- **Incident Management**:

- Reporting of the UA/UC; Ensure quality & uniformity of Incident Investigation to determine root cause and CAPA; Ensure Incident reporting in Online tool; Horizontal deployment of Actions; Communication & awareness on incident Alerts; Monthly analysis of incidents/ UA UC etc.
- **EHS Audits & inspections
- **Prepare Audit/ Inspection Calendar for SRE Projects & Premises; Analysis of internal and external audit observations; Track & publish compliance to the calendar; Capacity building for EHS inspections
- **Contractor Safety management - **Active participation in Selection, evaluation and performance monitoring of Vendors**; **EHS induction for new vendors, Sensitizing Vendors on Siemens EHS requirements, monitoring of EHS performance for vendors,
- **Fire Fighting & Emergency Response-**Fire Drills for offices & factories; Emergency Response & firefighting training to security guards & ERT members; Know-how of New technology & advancements in this field; Oversee operation & maintenance of Firefighting & emergency response installations at locations (Office & factory); Lead & support the fire Marshalls identified in the respective locations. Ensure availability of updated Emergency response plan at locations
- **EHS Trainings-** **Conduct training & awareness on relevant EHS topics (Virtual & Physical) ; Competency building on EHS for the Business & Vendor Team in line with the Zero Harm Culture (ZHC) of Siemens
- **EHS Governance & Monitoring
- **Monthly reporting on EHS dashboards, Publishing Quarterly reports, Lead Corporate Initiatives & follow-up on actions; updated knowledge on EHS standards & Guidelines issued from SRE GHQ & Corporate EHS.
- **Environment
- **Drive & support all environment related SRE initiatives.
- **EHS Campaigns & Communications
- **Observance of various events like National Safety Day, World Environment Day, Support in health-related initiatives, Publishing of EHS newsletter etc

**Use your skills to move the world forward**
- You have done an Engineering Graduation (B.E) in (Electrical / Mechanical) from REC or equivalent with Advance/Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS/PDIS) from RLI/CLI or State Board of Technical Education or NEBOSH Diploma
- You bring minimum 4 - 6 years of experience of working in EHS related roles.
- People management skills. Stakeholder management. Digital acumen, proficiency in digital tools and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills. Result oriented, Sense of urgency, Drive a culture of owner ship, accountability, and continuous improvement.
