Application Associate, Screening and Platform Group

**About the Role**:
**Grade Level (for internal use)**: 07
**The Team**: Screening and Platform Customization team provides expert services for our most sophisticated analytical tools so that we can provide clients with a tailored experience when using our products. This global seasoned team specializes in onboarding, support and client adoption of Screener product and other features and tools available on our Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro platform. Comprised of former investment professionals, CFA charter holders, and MBA's, team is charged with understanding our client needs and objectives and providing solutions to enhance their workflows.
Screening and Platform specialists are tasked with consulting clients on how to reap the maximum benefit of using our web-based platforms. They provide clients with expert guidance on the use of the Screening tool, build complex screens and tailor the look and feel of the platforms to facilitate each client’s specific workflow needs. Specialists also customize settings and create watch lists, charts, and company tear sheets so our clients can have a personalized workspace.
**The Impact**: Our Team is one of the primary touchpoints for our clients, and you will be the face of the organization. Your regular day would require you to build Screens, Lists, Alerts, Charts among others and answer client queries and be an advocate of our products while showcasing your vast knowledge of our tools and data. In addition to working with our clients, you will also work with our sales teams on winning and maintaining business, our Product teams on future enhancements, and our Client Services team on training and client queries.

**Responsibilities**:
Ability to understand client-specific requirements across all covered data sets and products.
Work with clients across multiple geographies including the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, and address their requirements.
Create Screens, Charts, Lists, Alerts among others, for our clients using our S&P Capital IQ & S&P Capital IQ Pro platform tools and features.
Partner with product teams on timely and thorough testing of our products, with an eye towards exceptional client experience.
Provide pro-active suggestions related to product enhancements, product usability, presentation and data quality to the product teams through various forums.
Create new opportunities for Automation and LEAN to improve the workflow efficiency.
Ability to independently manage the interactions with various unified teams.
**What We’re Looking For**:
Equivalent of MBA in Finance.
0 to 6 months experience.
Excellent communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
Strong understanding and knowledge of the fundamentals of business, financial statements and investments. Proficient in research and analysis.
Good knowledge and understanding of capital and commodity markets.
Inclination towards client-oriented approach.
Succinct communication skills. Strong collaboration skills. Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow with little supervision.
Ready to work in rotational shifts.
