Who You Are

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will work closely with the Manager of the Governance, Risk and Compliance Program.

You will also act as the domain specialist for Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance.

Providing guiance to the team on addressing the secuirty gaps in the context ofproduct's threat perception, periodically review vulnerabilities, Keeping upto date with changing threat landscape and keeping product up-to date with complaince.

Required skills:

- Technical background in IT systems and networking in Cloud environments.
- Solid experience analyzing product security compliance requirements, secure code development practices
- Exposure to Certficate management, Password management, Crypto algorithms, technologies for secure development
- Experience analyzing vulnerability assessment reports and data and writing risk mitigation plans according to the assessment.
- Programming on Python 3.x, C/C++ and experience in running vulnerability scanning tools on FreeBSD/Linux OS environment
- Advance GRC and other Security tools to collect, maintain and share security risk information with senior leadership.
- Must have the ability to lead and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to further the goals and mission of the Security Risk and Compliance team

Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex Security breaches, Identifing security holes in the product and provide guidance to address those.

Background & Education Masters / Under Graduate Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a reputed college 9-10+ years related experience.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
