**Towards Vendor**
- Set-up shortlisting criteria for selecting prospective vendors by SCM
- Work with SCM to inspect and qualify new vendors
- Gauge and Validate Vendor certifications - ISO, ASTM, etc.
- Maintain records of these certifications for periodic inspections - to ensure these are followed and also valid during the purchasing cycle.
- Maintain the approved supplier database and include all performance evaluations done. Including any quality issue documentation
- Engage all vendors to undertake Continuous improvement processes at their workplaces
- Investigate production and product issues and consider corrective measures to make improvements

**Towards GDW**
- Review engineering and manufacturing specifications vis-à-vis Lab customer’s specs & GDW offering
- Coordinate with SCM team during all stages of procurement - from PO to FAT and dispatch to site / GDW warehouse.
- Advise project team of prerequisites at site - completion of which is needed prior to receiving vendor material at site.
- Develop & create blueprints as well as establish quality systems.
- Set-up process control documents system and ensure it is adhered to.
- Be a part of the Change management team apropos any changes during execution
- Interact with Engineering and Project teams to submit required documents to customer, especially the Site handover technical sets.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Development of Inspection and work Instruction.
- Creative thinking - to find innovative solutions.
- Eye for details - specially during FAT at vendor’s site.
- Preparation of Inspection reports.
- Coordination and performance of internal process/product audits.
- Performance process capability studies.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Staff and management, both internal and external.
- Capacity to work independently from general supervision (must be self-motivated once given direction/guidance)
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain results working within strict time frames & Strong attention to details.
- Proficient in MS office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read & interpret assembly and component drawings and engineering specifications.
- Basic knowledge of operating measurement equipment & good knowledge of manufacturing process.

**Experience**
- 5 + years of relevant industrial experience
- Pharma/R&D lab experience will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on CAD and Revit MEP

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
