Job Summary

The MBBS Associate is a crucial clinical and advisory role responsible for supporting the Lead Physician in patient management, interpreting functional diagnostics, and ensuring the smooth execution of personalized longevity protocols. This role requires a strong medical foundation, intellectual curiosity in functional and integrative health, and exceptional client communication skills to educate, guide, and ensure patient commitment to long-term wellness plans.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Clinical Assessment & Protocol Implementation
- **Patient Case Preparation**:

- Conduct comprehensive initial medical history and lifestyle assessments for all new clients.
- Synthesize complex patient data, lab reports (including specialized functional testing), and lifestyle factors into succinct case presentations for the Lead Physician.
- **Diagnostic Interpretation Support**:

- Assist in the interpretation of functional laboratory tests, including nutritional, hormonal, gut health, and inflammatory markers, under the supervision of the Lead Physician.
- **Treatment Management**:

- Assist the Lead Physician in formulating personalized treatment protocols which may include targeted supplement regimens, dietary changes, IV therapy plans, and advanced modalities (PEMF, rTMS, Red Light Therapy).
- Monitor patient progress, adjust non-prescription components of the plan as authorized, and manage follow-up appointments.

B. Client Education & Advisory (Enrollment & Compliance)
- **Health Literacy & Guidance**:

- Serve as the primary clinical liaison, effectively translating complex functional medicine concepts and treatment rationales into clear, actionable advice for clients.
- Ensure clients fully understand the commitment, benefits, and expected timeline of their Longevity Roadmap.
- **Protocol Adherence & Retention**:

- Proactively engage with clients to address adherence challenges and foster motivation for long-term compliance.
- Advise clients on the value proposition of ongoing therapy packages, subscription models, and necessary follow-up services to ensure continuity of care and drive client retention.
- **Cross-Department Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the Nursing team to ensure accurate and safe administration of IV and injection therapies.
- Coordinate with wellness therapists to integrate treatments into the client’s overall schedule.

Qualifications and Requirements
- **Education**: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (**MBBS**) or equivalent medical degree from a recognized university.
- **Registration**: Current medical registration (or eligibility to register).
- **Experience**: Minimum 1 year of post-graduation clinical experience. Experience or documented interest in **Functional Medicine, Preventive Medicine, or Longevity/Integrative Health** is highly desirable.
- **Knowledge**: Foundational understanding of chronic disease, nutritional biochemistry, and pharmacology.
- **Communication**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey clinical information professionally and persuasively to clients.
