**Job description**
- Responsible to secure that the IWAY and Supply Chain Security WoW are understood and in place.
- Based on risk status, plan and perform verification activities, related to sustainability compliance in accordance with IWAY Working Methods and all other relevant mandatory documents, including traceability verification for critical materials and animal welfare.
- Responsible to gather and analyze information and facts to draw conclusions about compliance/noncompliance, using auditing methods including in-depth interviews with individual and/or group interviews with different parties at supplier. Secure timely and accurate verification information in the planning and reporting tools.
- Support Business Teams in creating sustainability compliance activities and plans to secure implementation, support, development and mitigation of IWAY and identified risks. Plan and organize meetings including APL alignment and follow up and provide expertise related activities and events with Business Teams, PLA and Category level.
- Support during the IWAY implementation process at new suppliers (incl. sub-suppliers). Responsible to assess all sustainability compliance requirements and be active in the I-START process. Responsible for the risk assessment of the new countries and suppliers together with the business teams.
- Provide training and tools to suppliers for root cause analysis of repeat non-compliances and verify implementation.
- Train and support suppliers, business units' teams and new Specialists in IWAY compliance and Supply Chain Security agenda.
- Lead/contribute to specific sustainability projects, contributing to the global agenda. Share Environmental and Social good business practices gained during the verification process at suppliers.
- Active member of PLA Sustainability Team and Matrix - contribute to short
- and long-term sustainability compliance action plan, prepare and implement relevant activities.

**Qualification**
- University degree in sustainability or one of the following engineering or social fields (environmental, chemical, mechanical, forestry or industrial)
- Experience working with ESG Governance (environmental, social and corporate)
- Knowledge of management systems: IWAY, ISO 14001, SA8000, OHSAS etc.
- Relevant experience of cotton, traceability, forestry, water, leather, down and feather requirements and good skills using verification techniques
- Good knowledge of different industrial set ups
- Good knowledge and understanding of sustainability related global trends and their impacts to the total business Capabilities
