Rigger

The Rigger will be responsible for safely handling, lifting, and loading steel structural components such as columns, rafters, beams, and other PEB materials onto vehicles using cranes, chains, and slings. The role ensures that all lifting and loading activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Loading Operations**: Safely load and secure steel structures and components onto trucks and trailers for dispatch.
- **Lifting & Rigging**: Attach rigging gear (slings, chains, hooks, etc.) to loads for cranes or forklifts, ensuring proper balance and stability.
- **Coordination**: Work closely with crane operators, and supervisors during loading and unloading.
- **Inspection**: Check rigging equipment daily for wear, damage, or defects and report any issues immediately.
- **Material Identification**: Identify components as per the packing list and ensure proper sequencing during loading.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow all safety procedures related to lifting and loading operations.
- **Housekeeping**: Maintain a clean and organized loading area.
- **Documentation Support**: Assist in marking, counting, and verifying materials as per dispatch documentation.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Basic knowledge of lifting techniques and material handling.
- Ability to understand hand signals for crane operation.
- Physically fit and able to handle steel materials.
- Prior experience in PEB / steel fabrication industry preferred.
- Knowledge of safety practices in rigging and lifting operations.

**Experience**:

- **Minimum**: 1-3 years as a rigger or helper in steel fabrication or construction.

Pay: From ₹16,000.00 per month
