Graphic Designer

Position Overview: Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team and help us create visually appealing and effective designs that captivate our audience. As the Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate stakeholders. They will develop the overall layout and production design of advertisements, brochures, magazines, reports, proposals, social media creatives, etc.

About Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion (SMGC): The Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion aims to globalize compassion and ignite ‘compassionate action’ and ‘compassionate leadership’ in the world to ensure justice, equity, peace and sustainability for all. SMGC aims to create paradigm shifting social transformation and meaningful impact at scale through power of compassion. We focus on creating ‘Compassionate Communities’, extensive research and training, experiential learning, high level dialogues and conferences. SMGC encompasses grassroot activists, youth leaders, Nobel Laureates and global changemakers from all walks of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with the Communications team to plan and develop communications collaterals for the Program team, Strategic Partnership team, and Chairperson's office.
- Identify and create the most appropriate creative visual as per the audience and key message to be delivered.
- Curate brand primary and secondary color pallets, and typography for SMGC brand guidelines.
- Design and produce a wide range of communication material including social media graphics, brochures, website visuals, donor reports, proposals, annual reports, e-newsletters, and digital and print advertisements.
- Develop standardized design templates for presentations, pitch decks, wall paintings, reports, etc. Ensure that the templates are used by all team members across the country.
- Act as the brand custodian and ensure correct use of logo, brand colors and fonts across all print and digital collaterals.
- Coordinate with the admin team for timely and quality printing of all collaterals.
- Stay updated with industry trends and software updates to maintain high-quality design standards. Continuously seek out new design techniques and best practices in graphic designing.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 2 years as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Corel Draw, Mailchimp (or related websites), and Canva.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices is a plus

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
