Entry Level Agile Scrum Master

For this role, Chemours is seeking an agile practitioner to fulfill the role of scrum master (leader) on these teams to drive high performing and healthy agile teams.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Focus on expanding skills and knowledge to handle increasingly more complex and unusual problems
- May be assigned to small initiatives or to phase(s) of larger initiatives
- Ensures Agile tools are up to date
- Manage each project’s scope and timeline
- Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Supporting the Product Owner on grooming and maintaining the product backlog
- Resolves team impediments in order to drive effectiveness of scrum teams
- Help teams implement changes effectively
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert in agile methodology acting as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to other initiatives.
- Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and methods
- Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional collaboration, and team ownership mindset
- Communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team
- Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and to drive team performance.
- Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization by collaborating with other agile coaches both internal and external to the function

- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years work experience overall in a professional setting.
- Self-motivated, self-starter individual that exhibits leadership qualities capable of triaging organizational issues and conflict.
- Good communication, facilitation and problem solving skills.

The following is
_preferred _for this role:

- Experience working in global, virtual teams in particular virtual agile teams
- Experience with Agile or any other project management methodology that supports improvement projects
- Experience with team agile execution within a manufacturing or service industry
- Experience using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerApp/Power Automate, Alteryx
- Experience as agile scrum lead in manufacturing setting, process optimizations/automations, or major data projects.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques
