Job Description

The Customer Support Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and timely support. They collaborate with internal teams, customers, and partners to address inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.

**Responsibilities**:
Customer Training at Technology Center:

- Conduct training sessions for customers at the technology center.
- Educate customers on product features, functionality, and best practices.
- Customize training programs based on customer needs.

Repairs:

- Diagnose and repair of renishaw Products reported by customers.
- Collaborate with the technical team to resolve hardware and software problems.
- Ensure timely and efficient repairs to minimize downtime.

24/7 Support Call:

- Address urgent technical queries, troubleshoot issues, and guide customers through solutions.
- Escalate critical issues to higher-level support as needed.

Coordination and Maintenance of Demo Stock:

- Manage the inventory of demo units and equipment.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure availability of demo stock.
- Maintain demo units, ensuring they are up-to-date and in optimal condition.

Customer Site Visits for Demonstration and Installation:

- Visit customer sites to demonstrate products and solutions.
- Install and configure equipment as per customer requirements.
- Provide on-site training and support during installations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, E&C Science, or related field.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
