We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Capital Gains Tax Technician**

In this role, you will:

- To produce Trust Tax Returns and to pay tax within HM Revenue & Customs deadlines.
- To complete Income Tax computations
- To complete Tax Reclaims for Charitable Trusts
- To create new PIMS details on systems and maintain the integrity of the data held.
- To complete Capital Gain tax reports.
- Set up and maintain capital gains tax information.
- To ensure the fair treatment of our customers is at the heart of everything we do, both personally and as an organisation.
- Measured by Quality Checks etc.
- By analysing and checking tax data and taking corrective action to produce tax certificates for 5th April annually, non-April for non-residents, Charitable clients, deceased clients, closing clients, vesting beneficiaries, previous years and producing schedules of income & tax where required.
Requirements

**To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements**:

- Educated to graduate level (or equivalent level of experience)
- 3 years + experience in a financial service environment
- General knowledge of investments and Geographic Information system processing
- Practical knowledge of income tax, capital gains tax, foreign income and tax residency.
- Working knowledge of Trust investments.
- Ability to interpret numerical/financial information.
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Aptitude to engage a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver at pace
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Good keyboard skills with some knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and Lotus Notes
