Logistics Coordinator

DSPL is urgently hiring for a Logistics Executive.

Logistics Co-Ordinator is responsible for strategically distributing inventory across multiple warehouses, managing essential import and export documentation, coordinating with transport companies for quotes, and maintaining internal communication about stock statuses. The role also includes administration in the backend system to ensure stock accuracy. This position requires a multifaceted approach, strong analytical skills, and exceptional coordination with various stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Strategic Inventory Distribution:

- Analyse and manage inventory levels to determine optimal distribution strategies across various warehouse locations.
- Implement and monitor the distribution plan to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.

2. Import/Export Documentation Management:

- Prepare, fill out, and manage essential import and export documents in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

3. Transport Coordination:

- Obtain and negotiate quotes from transport companies.
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely and effective delivery.

4. Internal Communication and Administration:

- Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders about stock statuses, upcoming shipments, and other essential information.
- Administer the backend system to ensure accurate stock records, and coordinate with warehouse teams as needed.

5. Compliance and Continuous Improvement:

- Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- Previous experience in logistics coordination, inventory management, and warehouse distribution.
- Familiarity with import and export regulations and documentation requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills, particularly in dealing with transport companies.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant inventory management software and backend systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.

**Preferred Qualifications (Optional)**:

- Certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related area.
- Experience in a similar role managing multiple warehouse locations and coordinating transportation.

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
