**Job Description: VMC Machine Operator**

Location: Vallam Sipcot ( Sriperumbudur)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Operation**:

- Operate VMC machines to produce components as per technical drawings and specifications.
- Set up tools and adjust machine settings to ensure precise machining.
- **Programming and Setup**:

- Perform machine setups, including clamping and tool setting.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Inspect components to ensure they meet quality standards using gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
- Identify and correct any deviations in the machining process.
- **Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the VMC machine.
- Report any machine issues or breakdowns to the maintenance team.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain records of daily production and inspection reports.
- Update logs with operational details, including tool changes and machine adjustments.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines and use protective equipment.
- Ensure the work area remains clean and hazard-free.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- Minimum ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, or relevant trade.
- **Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in VMC machine operation preferred.
- Freshers with relevant training or certification may also apply.
- **Skills**:

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of CNC programming and G-code/M-code.
- Proficiency in measuring instruments for quality checks.
- **Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for long hours and perform repetitive tasks.
- **Work Environment**:

- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
- Comfortable working in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
