Data Architect

**Job summary**

As a Data Architect within the IT Department, you will lead a team of data engineers in providing consistent, reliable, and sustainable data solutions for use across all areas of the company. You will influence data management processes that result in highly accurate and trusted assets for use by stakeholders across the company to ensure investments are centered on optimizing clearly defined and quantified business outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex data systems and solutions
- Establish standards, processes, and tools for data strategy, data life cycle, data ownership, data definition, and data classification to be used across the organization;
- Define the process to resolve cross-organizational data management issues
- Develop conceptual and logical data models in a variety of storage types including by not limited to data lakes, data warehouses, and graph databases that support data analysis and business intelligence Manage relationships with project teams using/ implementing data and meta-data management processes
- Participate in developing the future state data architecture standards, guidelines, and principles.
- Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features
- Work with IT teams, business analysts, and data analytics teams to understand and develop solutions for data consumers’ needs
- Develop enterprise data management methodology and standards, and promote them to both technology and business users throughout the company
- Collaborates with Data Engineers on the data model, its maintenance and optimization as well as an end-to-end data-driven integration strategy.
- Establish measures to chart progress related to completeness and quality of data and meta-data for enterprise information, to support the reduction of data redundancy and fragmentation, elimination of unnecessary movement of data, and improvement of data quality
- Participate in Data Governance Process to ensure standards are being followed by the team

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 7+ years’ experience as a Data Architect
- 5+ years’ experience integrating data from disparate sources
- Experience leading full lifecycle, large, complex reporting or data engineering efforts
- Skills in Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Lineage
- You are a strong communicator: You can distill complex technical ideas for a diverse set of stakeholders from developers, project managers, executives, and clients of all technical levels of sophistication.
- You are adaptable: The idea of working on several diverse types of projects of different sizes within different organizations excites you.
- You are a critical thinker: You don’t need to be told how to get from point A to point B. You are up for the challenge of figuring out how the pieces of a given project fit together.
- Advanced dimensional modeling and denormalization skills and experience with other data modeling techniques and associated tools Deep understanding of data architecture, data analysis, reporting, and basic understanding of data science techniques Strong proficiency in Data Engineering best practices
- Artful at consensus building and working through differences of opinion

**Salary Range : 15 to 18 LPA**

**Salary**: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
