Job Description: Purchase Executive (Paper Background)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Executive with a strong background in the paper industry. As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of paper materials, ensuring timely delivery, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to contribute to the smooth functioning of our organization's supply chain.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Procurement Management:

- Identify and assess potential suppliers for paper materials based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery speed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the organization's paper requirements and develop procurement strategies accordingly.
- Source and select suppliers, obtain competitive quotations, and negotiatefavourablee terms and conditions for contracts.

2. Supplier Relationship Management:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of paper materials.
- Conduct periodic supplier evaluations, address any performance issues, and take appropriate actions to maintain supplier performance standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any quality, delivery, or pricing concerns promptly.

3. Purchase Order Management:

- Generate and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Monitor the status of open purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
- Coordinate with the accounts payable team to ensure timely payment processing and resolve any invoicing issues.

4. Market Research and Analysis:

- Stay up to date with market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new products in the paper industry.
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, alternative suppliers, and potential risks.

5. Inventory Management:

- Collaborate with the warehouse and inventory management team to ensure optimal stock levels of paper materials.
- Monitor inventory levels, track consumption patterns, and recommend adjustments to inventory parameters to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Btech Mechanical engineering
- In-depth knowledge of paper products, market dynamics, and supplier networks.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using procurement software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Shamli, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)
