- The primary responsibility of a draftsman is to draft technical drawings for different objects, machines and structures. They usually use client notes and rough sketches to create designs. Draughtsmen may also use different types of software and designing tools to draft product blueprints. They often revise and adjust technical designs for installations and various construction projects such as buildings and highways._
