Roles & Responsibilities
- Incumbent will be responsible for handling the Finance & Accounts department single handedly.
- Perform the day-to-day accounting activities.
- TDS and GST compliance on government portals
- Invoicing and maintaining Tally ledgers
- Fixed Assets accounting
- Accounts Payable for Imports & Domestic purchases including monthly review
- Creditors Aging and Analysis
- Supplier Reconciliation & Due diligence
- Assist in preparing required schedules for Internal & Statutory Audits
- Scrutiny for general ledger including performing monthly analysis of selected general ledger accounts
- Perform duties within the Company Business Conduct Guidelines
- Perform and review all scheduled payments
- Prepare invoices by coordinating with sales teams
- Monitor cashflow, expenses, and collections from various accounts and statements
- Prepare salary calculations for employees as per their tax exemption data
- Prepare Form-16s for employees and vendors
- Coordinate with external accountancy firms, auditors, and valuers for report preparation, projections etc. necessary for financing
- Coordinate with teams responsible for purchase, stock, and sales to maintain workflows and keep documents up to date as per regulated process
- Communicate with various govt. / tax departments for certificates, exemptions, audits, as needed
- Monitor the metrics necessary for ensuring a healthy financial statement at the end of the fiscal year
- Must have excellent knowledge of financial processes and accounting fundamentals
- Must have knowledge of accounts payable systems and technical understanding of integrated ERP systems including inventory management, stock & asset valuation
- Must have excellent command over Tally, Taxman and MS Office
- Must have excellent understanding of taxation laws, common clauses related to exemption etc
- Must have practical experience of online tax payment portals
- Must have good understanding of company law for private limited firms
