Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

You are required to prepare a checklist for air and sea import/export and seek approval from the client.

You need to check documentation and compulsory compliance(s) of the commodities being imported/exported.

You have to coordinate and follow up with forwarders, transporter, shipping line, and the clearance staff for delivery status.

You are to verify the import/export customs documents and prepare the final document for customs clearance.

In-depth knowledge of “H.S. codes” and “# items listed by Indian customs.

Should have working experience with a customs clearance / Logistics Industry

Preparing EDI Shipping Bills

Preparing Bill of Lading (computerized)

Preparing Bills (Invoices) of Shipments and dispatching them to the clients.

Sending all the documents relevant to shipments to the clients.

Day to day co-ordination with the clients regarding their shipments.

Handling clients queries through oral communication

Proper client feedback.
