**Responsibilities**
- Process customer transactions efficiently using the cash register and POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing their inquiries.
- Upsell products and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
- Assist in stocking shelves and ensuring products are well-displayed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

**Skills**
- Strong proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance the shopping experience.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
