**Job Summary**:
The Resident Doctor oversees the health and well-being of elderly residents, providing medical care, diagnosing and treating conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive healthcare delivery. This role includes managing chronic illnesses, addressing acute medical needs, and promoting preventive health practices within the facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Medical Care and Management**
- Conduct regular medical check-ups, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans for residents.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis with a focus on enhancing residents’ quality of life.
- Address acute medical emergencies promptly and coordinate further care if hospitalization is required.

**2. Medication Management**
- Prescribe and adjust medications while monitoring for side effects and interactions.
- Ensure residents' medication regimens are accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to oversee the safe administration of medications.

**3. Preventive Healthcare**
- Develop and implement preventive health programs tailored to the needs of elderly residents.
- Administer vaccinations, screenings, and health assessments.
- Educate residents and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

**4. Collaboration with Care Teams**
- Work closely with caregivers, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss and review care plans.
- Act as a primary liaison between residents’ families and the medical team to provide updates and guidance.

**5. Documentation and Compliance**
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all medical practices align with facility protocols and legal requirements.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives as needed.

**6. Resident Advocacy**
- Advocate for residents' healthcare needs while respecting their autonomy and preferences.
- Address ethical considerations, including end-of-life care and advanced directives.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
**1. Education & Licensure**
- BAMS or BHMS degree with proper registration.
- Valid medical license to practice in the facility's state or region.
- Specialized training in geriatrics or internal medicine is highly preferred.

**2. Experience**
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in geriatrics, internal medicine, or family medicine.
- Familiarity with common age-related health issues, including dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and osteoporosis.

**3. Key Skills**
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with elderly residents and their families.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to improving the lives of elderly individuals.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and make swift decisions during emergencies.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
