**About Us**

**Role Overview**

As a Video Editor at **DD Books**, you will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for publishing. You will collaborate with the content, marketing, and design teams to create videos that resonate with our audience and strengthen our digital presence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content for social media, YouTube, website, and marketing campaigns.
- Add effects, graphics, music, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of videos.
- Work closely with the marketing and creative team to develop video concepts.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver videos within deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest editing trends, tools, and techniques.
- Optimize video formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- Maintain brand consistency across all video projects.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and transitions.
- Basic knowledge of sound design and color correction.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a sense of timing.
- Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with educational/branding content is a plus.
