Required Skills Qualifications
5 years of hands on experience in Tableau development including dashboard creation report authoring troubleshooting and data source management
Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop creating and troubleshooting dashboards managing data sources and Tableau Server administering content users and permissions
In depth experience with advanced Tableau features such as LOD expressions data blending Joins filters and interactive dashboard actions
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies resolve performance issues and optimize reports in Tableau
Solid understanding of how to design clear effective and user friendly Tableau reports and dashboards
Experience with SQL for data querying integration and validation
Familiarity with ETL processes and tools Informatica PowerCenter IICS is a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge of data systems like BI analytics data warehousing and data integration
Experience working in Agile development environments and iterative project cycles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Tableau certification Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Professional is a plus
Familiarity with performance optimization and query tuning in Tableau
Experience with data modeling data integration and ETL tools is a plus
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain dynamic Tableau dashboards and reports to support decision making and business insights
Create complex visualizations using advanced Tableau features such as multiple parameters crosstabs sections and detailed report functions
Administer Tableau Server including publishing sharing and managing Tableau content and user access
Leverage Tableaus interactive features including filters parameters and dashboard actions eg highlight URL actions to provide an engaging user experience
Use Level of Detail LOD expressions and other advanced Tableau techniques to build sophisticated calculations and analytics
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues performance bottlenecks and data discrepancies in Tableau reports
Optimize dashboard performance and improve data query efficiency to ensure fast rendering and smooth user experience
Work with business teams to understand KPIs and business requirements translating them into effective Tableau solutions
Provide support in SQL queries for data extraction integration and validation where necessary
Collaborate with other teams on data management tasks including assisting with ETL processes experience in ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter IICS is a plus
Work in an Agile development environment iterating through requirements and solutions to meet deadlines
Communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders ensuring clear reporting and collaboration
