**Responsibilities**: - Responsibility for the role relates to managing the Clearing activities pertaining to Inward/ Outward / Inward Returns/ Outward Returns/ECS/Inhouse etc. - Authorization of transactions in product processor - To ensure smooth transaction processing for payments products (RTGS/NEFT /DDs/A2A, etc.), including handling customer interface, vendors and external and internal stakeholders such as Product/Legal/Regulators, etc. - Keep abreast of the changing RBI / Govt regulations with respect to Banking and ensure that the operating procedures are in line with them - Managing vendors that are engaged in various stages of transaction processing - Optimizing and re-engineering of processes and thereby ensuring efficiency, controls and cost saves - Contribute to work flow or process change and redesign, and to form a basic understanding of the specific product or process - Ensuring timely and flawless regulatory reporting. Assist in handling of regulatory notices/queries and ensure timely resolution of regulatory queries/notices - Representing the bank in regulatory meetings legal related matters and hearings - Monitoring and understanding emerging operational best practices in the industry and thereby ideating to create competitive advantage **Qualifications**: - 6-9 years relevant experience - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Education**: - Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
