**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design Development**: Create innovative and trendsetting designs for infants' garments, ensuring comfort, safety, and style.
- **Trend Research**: Stay updated with the latest trends in kids' fashion, including colors, materials, and patterns, to create collections that appeal to both parents and children.
- **Software Proficiency**: Use design software to create virtual representations of garments and collections for presentations and production.
- **Fabric and Material Selection**: Work closely with the sourcing team to select appropriate fabrics and materials that meet safety standards for infants.
- **Collaborative Work**: Collaborate with product managers, pattern makers, and manufacturers to ensure designs are executed properly and meet production timelines.
- **Prototype Development**: Develop and present prototypes or mockups of designs, ensuring alignment with production capabilities and market demands.
- **Market Understanding**: Develop a deep understanding of consumer needs and translate that into commercial, innovative designs for the brand.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ensure that all design aspects—from patterns to color selection—adhere to the brand’s standards and market requirements.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in fashion designing, specifically for infants' and kids' wear.
- **Software Skills**: Proficient in at least one design software like **Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D,** or **CorelDRAW** for virtual design presentations.
- **Portfolio**: A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in kids' fashion, particularly focusing on infant wear.
- **Creativity & Innovation**: Ability to create unique designs while keeping the functional aspects of children’s clothing in mind.
- **Knowledge of Fabric & Fit**: Deep knowledge of fabrics suitable for kids' clothing, with a strong sense of fit and comfort for infants.
- **Trend Awareness**: In-depth understanding of the latest fashion trends in children’s wear and a passion for creating designs that align with those trends.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
